Action Packed Weekend

What a weekend.  Got a lot done (we're moving to NC!).  Hung with Arthur at the bookstore and with a towel poolside

and threw up some gang signs at a Cleveland Indians baseball game.

Struck a pose with Momma and Poppa

All business in the stands.  Indians win 4-2 handing the famous Yu Darvish (Japanese pitching sensation for the Texas Rangers) his first MLB loss EVER.  First place Indians!

Run in with a strange and gigantic walking hot dog and onion dog in the bowels of Progressive Field

Post game, hit the field (just like last year).  Excited as usual:

Who could ask for more?

Chopper City

So a couple of weeks back, we went to a truck and air show in NC with the Eapens (who by the way just welcomed home a new baby boy Elijah!).  Anyway Sachi managed to take up a seat in the back to prepare for the coming invasion, hard hat and all.

Spring is Here

With warm weather blessing lovely Cleveland, our little lady has decided to take her act outdoors.  Here's a couple of snaps from this spring:

Guess Whose Back!

Well, the Blog has taken some time off and we've received fan mail complaining about the lack of updates of our little princess and her courageous steed.  The off-time has been spent settling territorial disputes, changing soiled pantaloons and listening to endless conversation from our little girl's growing vocabulary (i.e. "baka" - see attached link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baka_(fool) )

With the lack of correspondences, we've missed providing updates on Sachi's past couple of month anniversaries.  Although its always a challenge to capture a youngin' in action, here's the growth of little Sachi over the past couple of months.  The stickers on her shirt are fairly self explanatory:

As a reminder from where we came...

...to where we are now...

guess who hasn't changed:

We've got a whole lot more to add, but thought that it'd probably be a good idea to get the first post of 2012 under our proverbial belts before going off and putting on more and more.  Don't go anywhere.

Attempted Christmas Card - 2k11 Version

Well last year's attempt at getting a Xmas card went up in smoke with the Oza family laptop went belly-up, so this year, we thought we would try snapping a photo of our two pugilists in action in hopes of getting a decent shot to send out via the US Postal Service.  Sachi, complete with ridiculously large red ribbon and socks and Paipi with the obligatory Santa hat, did not exactly display model-like discipline.  Here's what we have to choose from:

Honestly, that's the best that we have.  Go ahead: eagerly await your Christmas card, because its coming, whether we get a good photo or not.

The Forgotten Halloween Post

So, the Circus has been somewhat inconsistent with its blog posts as of late and in the grind of the day-to-day happenings, we completely forgot to provide an update as to Sachi's 2nd Halloween celebration.  Last year, Sachi was a flower (http://sachioza.blogspot.com/2010/11/halloween-sachan-and-paipi.html), so this year, why not progress from vegetation to insect.

Meet the world's most perfect ladybug:

Scoping out some ducks:

1/2 ladybug, 1/2 meerkat...ladykat?:

Cruising the local scene...

...but putting in some Ladybugs work hours too.  No freeloaders in the Oza household:

Once back at the homestead, our little ladybug seems to have convinced her simple-minded friend, Paipi, to dress up (willingly or not) like a horse.  First, he needed some heart-to-heart convincing and once distracted, take advantage.

Little ladybugs need friends, so what better complement an insect than a strawberry.  Its Elsie!

In a feeble attempt to recreate Sachi's favorite Japanese superhero, Anpanman, Poppa Oza tried to carve a pumpkin lookalike.  Even the most generous of observers would likely place the final product in the "Poor to Quite Poor" category, if not deem it "Entirely Unacceptable"... Can't fault the effort though!

Oza House Rivalries

In the current swing of the NFL season, the end of the Major League Baseball playoffs and with NCAA basketball around the corner, rivalries are hot and heavy during this time of year.  Mirroring the current sports environment, our two pugilists have also raised the temperature in the Oza household, with constant infighting, one-upsmanship and just straight playing dirty.  No tactics are off-limits; no hallowed ground (or pet bed) too sacred; nobodies protected.

Case and point:  A relaxing and unassuming Paipi takes in some sunshine

A well meaning observer appears to be upon us.  Paipi gets up to re-situate in light of the unexpected company...

The intruder proceeds to attempt to point out Paipi's belly button; unbeknownst to our adventurer, Paipi doesn't have a belly button and she is pointing to an area protected under the Oza family code prohibiting sexual harrassment - an official harrassment claim has been filed with the Oza family human resources division.

In her defense, she really was looking for a belly button:

Case Study #2 - Battle for Territory - things are getting heated.  The white one-piece pajama suit has been donned as battle gear.

Tempers flare!

Taking it Outside - Before the weather gets too cold, Sachi took the hound and headed outdoors.  Off to the pumpkin patch as well!

And of course, exhaustion:
